hello,

i know it's been a while since i last wrote and i have become a bad blogger (not like i was a good one anyway). so, let's do a recap, since last post!

-i went home for christmas-spent a huge amount of time with family...yup, family drama still there, more cousins getting engaged/married (why are they all younger than me? geesh), and grandma is doing better than i expected. she's a fighter that one. mom good, dad good, brother good, sister good. good.

-new years! didn't get drunk, i was sick :(. damn change in weather.

-my birthday!!! i am 25 now. got the birthday blues, it came and went. i am now in my mid 20's! watch out now. saw lots of people i have lost touch with. makes me realize how important it is to stay in touch, which i am bad at. this year will be different for me.

-chinese new year! gong hay fat choy :). supposedly...this year will be a breeze for rats and very lucky for dogs. keeping my fingers crossed for more munnies.

-i got a new job! check it out: www.axialracing.com~ and yes, i will have to learn how to assemble one of those. this will test my knowledge of cars, which is not much.

-i played frisbee golf for the first time, and went to the driving range for the first time. who knew it was so fun! i now know i have the ability to hit the golf ball while swinging a golf club, and that people take frisbee golf seriously, like they have bags specially made to hold frisbees. a-whaaat?.

-still excersising and "trying" to eat right: damn healthy living.

-didn't really care much for the superbowl, but went to a superbowl party, saw the 3D commercials (which was eh). on an unrelated topic, go lakers!

-president got inagaurated....i thought it was really long, and the lady's speech after that didn't make any sense

-been watching the usual shows: lost, heroes, *ahem* america's best dance crew,  what?

-trying to stay in touch with the news. i am an adult now i guess.

obviously these were not in order! but, i am having a good day so far :). happy thursday everybody!

so i definately checked out the moon after sunset and saw venus and jupiter! well...the only two stars by it, i can only assume.

anyway, i was driving up the san jaoquin hills, and the view was amazing. for some reason it was a bit gloomy today, so picture just after sunset on a hill with some fog overseeing the beach...breath taking. it actually made my day. it's funny how small little things like that kind of make your day a bit more interesting. since losing my job, i've been trying to appreciate the smaller things in life and trying to fill my time with things that should be worth while rather than what i used to do, which was work.

i've found lately that i've been focusing on other things, misplacing my priorities, and feeling sorry for myself just because i don't have a clue what i'm up to these days or where my life is heading, well...and then some more. work just gave me the excuse to not address these problems. it's only been 2 weeks? and it feels like forever.

but...

i'm looking into grad school options, will be studying for the gre now and i have some interviews coming so, it'll be okay. i think i owe myself that much for all my time. but for the mean time, are there any suggestions that i can do to take up some time that are fun? i'm up for the challenge and open! oh yeah. and be free everyone, because i'm coming..
